About Ashby Life

Ashby Life is an independently owned A5, full colour, magazine. We publish 10 issues a year - one each month with the exception of Jan/Feb and July/Aug both of which are combined issues. Launched in 2005 the magazine has grown steadily. Each edition contains a combination of community information, a local walk, details of upcoming events, puzzles, articles, recipes and advertising for local businesses. The magazine is delivered free to residents in both Ashby de la Zouch and Smisby every month. We currently print 6,100 copies each month and for the convenience of those living outside the distribution area copies of Ashby Life are available from our pick up points at:

• Ashby Tourist Information Office
• Scaddows Farm Shop, Ticknall
• Cattows Farm Shop, Heather
• Priory Garden Centre, Breedon
• Coleorton Post Office
• Staunton Stable Tea Rooms at Staunton Harold
• Jaspers News and Wine at Moira
• Daybreak Services at Packington.

The magazine normally comes out around 28th of each month and is distributed over a 7 day period. For those who live outside the distribution area copies are usually available at the pick up points from around 2nd of each month - we advice early pick up as they do go quickly!

The aims of Ashby Life are to let people know about events, services, shops and trades people within the area and to encourage residents to support local businesses in order that our wonderful community can continue to flourish.
