Ashby Film Nights - Past Lives (12A)

When 20th March, Doors Open at 6.45, Film Starts at 7.20 pm

This superb Korean-Canadian film is the story of lost love and a childhood crush set against the migrant experience.  Na Young (played by Greta Lee) ponders the alternative life that could have been, staying behind in the old country, versus the one that went abroad for a new future.  Beautifully acted, with 5 star reviews and BAFTA and Oscar nominations.  The film is in a mix of English and Korean (with subtitles), but please don’t let that put you off.

Emmanuel Church Loughborough - Lunchtime Concert

Panel Games Evening

When 23rd March, 7.30pm

A totally unique, fun quiz. Every round is inspired by a different TV quiz or panel game (knowledge of the shows not needed). Individuals, pairs and groups unite to become red, white and blue teams - strangers become teammates. Battle against other teams through general knowledge, guesswork or deception - laughter will bind you together, the interval 2 course supper will revitalise you. Organised by Ashby/Pithiviers Twinning Assoc but open to all.

Are you ready for our Easter egg-stravaganza? The Easter Bunny and his friends think that you’re a good egg and want you to hop along to their Bunny Bunch club! Can you complete their egg-citing tasks to show them you have what it takes to be the best bunny buddy? Egg Hunt

When 29th March - 14th April, 11am - 3pm

We have joined forces with our local schools to put on an egg hunt with a difference. This Easter half term you can wonder about our store hunting for sculptures made by our local schools of animals – all of which lay eggs. These sculptures have been made using recycled materials and are to be voted on by you! The winning schools gets a fantastic prize of wildlife/gardening bundle worth £250. There’s fun brass rubbings to collect on your way around, and of course a sweet treat at the end! Tickets are only £2 of which 50p of every ticket...
