Imprinting the Wild
When 6th April, 10.30 am - 4.30 pm
Led by Duncan and Emma Pass Imprinting the Wild is a workshop for anyone who wants to take time out of their busy lives to reconnect creatively with the wild world around them, and use nature to enhance and develop their creative writing and artistic skills. In the morning, Emma will take you on a walk around the Whistlewood site and surrounding woodlands, exploring the five senses. Walking Stick Making Workshop
When 6th April, 10.30 - 2.30
Make a traditional hiking or pilgrim stick, shepherd’s crook, hook or contemporary design stick from scratch. Led by Graham Truscott, we will discuss the nature, purpose and use of hiking sticks as we cut our own green sticks in a local woodland. Then we will craft, shape and finish these or seasoned sticks (if preferred) to suit personal taste, all the while sharing the craic! Tools and finishing oils provided. Make a great present for yourself, a friend or loved one.

Pay What You Can Mindful Relaxation
When 6th April, 2-3pm
Mindfulness is the concept of concentrating on the present moment, on purpose. Come and join us as we explore different relaxation techniques and skills to take into daily life to help remain calm and cope with stress. These sessions usually cost £6-7, but this is a one-off unique experience in which you can make any contribution you wish, all in aid of Alzheimer's Society. Please contact Helen for enquiries, why I am doing this and to confirm attendance. Prepayment is not required, just give what you can. ALL money contributed will go straight to Alzheimer's Society.
